Installation Summary

When we arrive at your home, our installation works will look like this:

  1. Our skilled fitters will start by conducting a Conservatory Health Check/Survey when they arrive at your property, remove the existing roof and checking that the roof is square.

Externally

  1. The eaves beam is the first part to be installed.
  2. Preinstalled M6 bolts are set at a predetermined position.
  3. Multi-angled cleats are used to fix the eaves joints together which are then secured with screws.
  4. The top fixed glass units are removed to enable the eaves to be secured from underneath.
  5. Each rafter is then fixed in position using the M6 bolts provided.
  6. Wall plates are fixed to the wall on both sides of the ridge plate using concrete screws.
  7. M8 bolts slide to the end of the hip which is then attached to the ring beam.
  8. Check the hip points towards the centre of the ridge ensuring they are aligned.
  9. Jack rafters attached to each side of the hip and are secured to the hips using M8 bolts.
  10. This is repeated until all of the rafters are firmly in place.
  11. The new fascia and guttering are then attached.
  12. 100mm Insulation is then installed from the outside, sitting between the aluminium rafters.
  13. The pre-cut plywood is secured to the rafters and guttering, using 38mm screws to add structural strength.
  14. The eaves guard and waterproof membrane are installed next followed by vertical battens set at 250mm apart to ensure the correct air flow.
  15. The tiles are now ready to be installed.
  16. Tiles are installed from right to left to ensure they interlock correctly.
  17. Battens are added to the ridges on the roof and hips ready to receive the ridge caps which are fixed directly to the battens using screws.

Internally

  1. Horizontal battens are added.
  2. Insulated plaster boards are cut to size and installed.
  3. Plasterboard in then skimmed ready for painting.

  1. Finally, we'll clean up after ourselves by thoroughly vacuuming and wiping down all sides and removing all waste and rubbish.
  2. When we leave, we will have transformed your conservatory into a cozy living space that you can enjoy all year round.
